ROOF REPAIR
AND NEW ROOF CONSTRUCTION PROCESS
STEP 1: Before the Work
Starts
You can email or fax your signed contract/proposal to
Alert Construction. Your job supervisor will meet with
you to set the date of the work, to discuss delivery of
the materials and to confirm the position of the dump
trailer. You will select the roofing material color and
other necessary options.
Here are some helpful tips to think about before the
work starts.
-
Park your vehicles on the street because roofing
materials and the dump trailer will be in your
driveway.
-
Protect your valuables in the attic with a plastic
liner. If necessary, we can help you install the
plastic liner before any work begins on the roof.
STEP 2: During the Work
Your site supervisor will speak with you on the
pre-arranged date before the crew starts working. Your
AC/heat pump unit may need to be turned off during the
removal process. Please don’t hesitate to contact your
site supervisor with any concerns or questions.
Before completion, our crew will:
-
Clean roof-related material and debris from all
gutters;
-
Properly dispose of all roofing or siding materials
removed during the job;
-
Walk a magnetic sweeper around the property and
driveway to ensure that all nails from the
roofing/siding/gutter project are disposed of
properly.
If
you are available, the site supervisor will review the
completed work with you.
STEP 3: After the Work
Completed
We
will remove the dump trailer and unused materials a day
or two after your job is completed. Your supervisor will
inspect the work and answer any questions that you have.
Our quality workmanship comes with a
100% satisfaction
guarantee.
Alert Construction will invoice you or your insurance
company once the job is completed. Please call our
office if payment cannot be made upon receipt of the
invoice. We will mail you the manufacturer’s warranty
once we receive the payment in full.
